A woman has died after a serious collision on the A52 on Boxing Day.
Emergency services were called to the A52 Radcliffe Road between Gamston and Stragglethorpe after the collision at 5.10pm on Sunday, December 26.
The road was closed for more than five hours, reopening at around 1.30am on December 27.
Police have now confirmed a 53-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing to anyone with information.
Detective Constable Emma Temple, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A woman has tragically lost her life following this incident and specialist officers are working to offer the family support.
“Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
“We continue to investigate the incident thoroughly and conduct enquiries, and we are now asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 339 of 26 December 2021.”
