A women has died after falling from the sixth storey balcony in a block of flats, prompting a police investigation.
The victim, believed to be in her 50s, reportedly plunged around 60 ft to the bottom of Barge Walk, in Greenwich, South East London, according to My London.
The Met Police were called to the scene just after 8.30pm on Friday, July 16th, to reports that a woman has fallen from a height.
Witnesses said she had fallen from a sixth storey balcony in a block of flats.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service tried to help the woman.
However, her injuries proved fatal and she was pronouced dead at the scene.
The Met have launched an investigation and are looking into the circumstances around the fall.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Barge Walk, SE10, shortly after 8.30hrs on Friday, July, 16, to reports of a woman fallen from height.
"Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service.
"The woman, believed to be in her 50s, was found with fatal injuries and died at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances."
