A woman has died following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Ballynakilly Road in Coalisland.
Police confirmed the news this morning.
The collision was reported shortly before 9.10pm yesterday evening.
Police attended the scene along with other emergency services.
In a statement police said: "The female driver of a Renault Modus was treated at the scene but sadly passed away. The driver of a Volkswagen Golf was uninjured.
"Inspector Lucas is appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1981 of 14/07/20."
The Ballynakilly Road had been closed, but was reopened as of 7am this morning.
