A WOMAN has died following a crash in a Perthshire town.
At around 9.30am on Wednesday, a Toyota Hilux crashed in Burnhead Road near its junction with Hill Street.
The 54-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage.
Sergeant John McDiarmid said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died.
“Our enquiries into the circumstances continue and I would appeal to anyone who either witnessed the crash or who has any information that may assist us to please come forward.
"I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us."
