Woman dies after being hit by motorcycle in WA town of Lancelin, 14yo rider in critical condition

A 53-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a motorcycle being ridden by a 14-year-old boy north of Perth.

Police say the motorbike was travelling north along Gingin Road, in Lancelin, just after 9:30pm on Friday when it struck the woman, who was standing on the side of the road.

The woman died from her injuries at the scene.

The teenager was flown to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Major crash detectives are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
