A WOMAN has died after being found unresponsive in West Lothian.
Emergency services were called to Ogilvie Way in Livingston at around 10.40am on Friday, where a 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the death is being treated as unexplained but it is not believed to be suspicious.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out and has since reopened.
An investigation has been launched into the death by the Health and Safety Executive, the national regulator for workplace health and safety in the UK.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Friday, May 9, 2025, we were made aware of an unresponsive woman in Ogilvie Road, Livingston.
“Emergency services attended, and the 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious.
“Enquiries are continuing and the Health and Safety Executive has been notified.”
