Woman describes 'outstanding' karma after family's pre-booked flight seats were taken

A woman has told of a time when she witnessed karma showing itself on a flight when her pre-booked seats were taken by another family.

Travelling by plane can be a stressful experience, so anything which can make that process worse is not ideal.

Drama with plane seats can be disruptive to all passengers, but one woman has detailed her swift vindication after her seats were taken on a recent flight.

After boarding with her family, the woman was shocked when she noticed there was another family sitting in their allocated seats.

Instead of making a fuss, she just moved into the spare seats left available to avoid disrupting the other passengers, the Mirror reports.

The woman wrote: "We get on to find that a family is in our seats. The parents won't even look up at us. The teen daughter mumbles that she got there first and just sat down. They were in our A-B-C seats.

"They were supposed to be D-E-F. They were clearly not moving, and the seats were identical so we just sat in their D-E-F seats. Whatever, not worth worrying about."

However, she went on to say that she witnessed 'instant karma' as the family who stole her seats were faced with an issue.

Writing on the Reddit 'Stolen Seats' forum, the mum said: "The mum who initially refused to even look at us leaned over to ask me if our USB and outlets were working. Yes, while I had headphones on.

"'Why yes, yes they are.' 'Oh my, are yours not?' 'None of them?' 'Isn't that a shame? Especially since we sat on the runway for a bit over an hour and it is a long flight. I imagine batteries are getting low.'

"Hello Karma."

"Outstanding", a Redditor wrote, whilst another said: "That's fantastic!"

Someone commented: "When traveling I always have two charged power packs in my personal bag. So not only did they steal seats they are not good at planning ahead for travelling!"

"I'm really curious why they decided to sit in identical seats across the aisle from their assigned seats. Whomp whomp to them, sweet karma", another joked.
