A woman has denied murdering a man in Old Swan earlier this year.
Learna Cheng is accused of murdering Dylan Bacon after he was found in the road in Rock Grove with stab wounds to his chest.
Police were called to the scene on Monday, March 14, after reports that a man had been stabbed multiple times at around 8.55pm. They attempted CPR but the 39-year-old was pronounced dead.

Cheng was later charged with his murder appeared at Liverpool Crown Court over video link this morning. The 26 year old spoke only to confirm her personal details and plead not guilty.
Cheng’s trial was initially set to take place next month but David Temkin QC, defending, requested Judge Denis Watson QC vacate that trial to allow the defence to serve further reports. Judge Denis Watson ordered Cheng’s trial be relisted for January 9 next year. She is remanded in custody until then.
Mr Bacon’s family released a tribute to him, saying he was a popular figure in the community. The statement said: A spokesperson for the force said: ""Dylan was loved by everyone in Old Swan. You couldn’t think about the Swan without Dylan coming to mind. "He had the most infectious smile and energy. He was gifted with the bluest eyes and dimples, and was always available for a picture! The stories of Dylan will live on, we love you so much ‘One kiss is all it takes’."
