A woman who was extradited from New Zealand has denied murdering a 71-year-old NSW man six years ago.

Kylie So, 50, appeared via videolink for arraignment in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday.

She pleaded not guilty to murdering Robert Dickie at Elong Elong in central western NSW between June 14 and 15, 2016.

The 71-year-old was reported missing by family in June 2016, two days after he was last seen leaving his Elong Elong home.

So was extradited from Auckland in 2020.

Justice Helen Wilson listed her trial, estimated to run for up to seven weeks, to start on August 14 in Dubbo Supreme Court.
