A woman has been slammed after ordering strangers to send her £200 to cover the costs of her dog's birthday party - and complaining when she is sent just £55.
Wanting to throw her dog a party to remember, the woman logged on to a 'generous group' on Facebook and explained how she has been struggling with her finances since the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
She asked group members to all chip in so she could spend £200 on a lavish birthday party for her dog - but things quickly backfired when she came to thank them for their generosity.
She said: "Damn I really wish I got more. I'm super grateful for what I got 100 per cent but I only got £55 out of what I needed".

Rubbing salt into the wound, the woman ended her message with a sad face and a broken heart emoji.
In response, a group admin wrote: "This is extremely not allowed. This is guilt posting and VERY against the rules and fundamentals of our group.
"I'm muting you for seven days and turning your comments off. Message the Modmin Team Page with any questions."
However, turning the comments off didn't stop people from sharing their thoughts on the woman's post, as one Reddit user said: "Imagine asking people in a generous group for £200 to throw your dog a birthday party and having people go out of their way to give you money and you post this?
"She tried saying later that since she said 'I’m super grateful' that it excused her being super ungrateful. I can’t even lie, I’m mad."
Another user added: "If by super grateful, this person actually means 'super ungrateful', then yes, she's super grateful alright."
A third user added: "There's a group where people just give you free money, for something as asinine as a dog birthday party? Sign me up ASAP, I need to hold a triathlon for my turtle."
Pointing out how the money is "clearly for herself", one user said: "I throw adoption/birthday parties for my pets every year. I went all out for the dog last year and spent like £30. She had a lovely time and I didn't have to guilt strangers on the internet.
Another user added: "I had a family/kid birthday party, which ended up being 15 adults and eight kids.
"I fed everyone burgers, we had cake and ice cream. I got pound shop decorations and even had a pound shop-available theme.
"There's no way I spent more than £100. Granted, the kid is young enough where our gift is the party and everyone else brings gifts but you can do a lot for that much money."
