A woman was killed and two others were seriously injured in a rollover crash Saturday in west suburban Aurora, according to police.

Authorities were called about 3 a.m. for reports of the crash in the 600 block of North Ohio Street, according to a statement from Aurora police. They arrived to find a car rolled onto its side with one woman pinned underneath and two others trapped inside.

The 22-year-old woman pinned under the car was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to preliminary findings from an autopsy conducted Monday she died of multiple injuries sustained in an automobile collision, the Kane County coroner’s office said.

The two women inside were extricated and taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to police. They have since been stabilized.

Ohio Street is closed between Rural Street and Lehnertz Avenue while investigators reconstruct the crash, police said.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information is asked to call the Aurora Police Department Traffic Division at 630-256-5330.
