A woman who said she was cursed with painful acne has managed to turn her life around and got rid of the spots - just by changing her diet. Sarah Hutchinson, 28, used to be self-conscious and didn't feel confident leaving the house due to the rash of irritating spots on her face.
But Sarah, a fitness instructor from Manchester, was able to fix the problem by changing her diet - as when she gave up eating sandwiches the spots disappeared. Now she said that her life has completely changed, and even though she misses bread the change was 'worth it'.

Sarah said: "I miss white bread but this is worth it. The diet's like a stabiliser. It's amazing to get my confidence back and feel comfortable again.
"It got me very very down. Now I feel incredibly lucky I don't have more scars."
Sarah said the spots disappeared just six weeks after she gave up refined carbohydrates, including her favourite ham sandwiches which were made with white bread.
She continued: "People don't realise how common acne is, or that it can just appear, even in adulthood, and for men as well as women.
"It was horrible, like lumps in my skin with spots on top, and it was very very sore so it brought me to tears."

Meanwhile, Sarah previously came under fire after revealing she tricked her girlfriend into getting health y - as some say her actions are controlling, but others think they're genius.
Sharing the story on TikTok, Charlotte Taundry, who posts under the shared account @charandsarah, reveals how when she started dating her partner, Sarah Hutchinson, she had four sugars in her tea.
But slowly, over time, Charlotte has been reducing that number and now Sarah has just two - but she was completely unaware that Charlotte had been cutting back the sugar.
She said she was just thinking of her health, but some people have said her actions are controlling and asked how she had 'the audacity' to mess with her partner's tea.
