A driver crashed her car in a Hamilton street while nearly seven times over the drink limit.
Natasha Calvert, 33, of Calton, Glasgow, was placed under supervision for a year and ordered to attend counselling when she appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
She admitted being over the limit and failing to stop and provide details after the collision with another vehicle in Inglefield Gardens.
The court heard she tried to leave the scene, but was prevented from doing so and the police were called.
She was seen to be “walking unsteadily” and admitted to officers that she had been drinking.
Sheriff Linda Nicolson also banned Calvert from driving for 16 months, but said this will be reduced to a year if she completes a driver rehabilitation course.
