A woman who crashed 200ft off a cliff on Christmas Day was miraculously rescued by her 'Find My iPhone' feature.
The daughter, from California, US, was driving home from a family gathering on Christmas Day when family members became concerned for her wellbeing after she failed to contact them on December 26.
The woman, who has not been identified, had Apple's 'Find My iPhone' feature activated on her phone which allows Apple products, with the users permission, to be traced.
Authorities confirmed the family used the feature to try and track down the missing daughter after there had been no contact from her since she left the family home on Christmas Day.
After checking their daughter's location it was revealed the car was stranded off the side of a California highway, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Authorities believe the woman crashed and was left stranded overnight due to the severity of her injuries as she had to be pulled out by firefighters and medics.

The Find My feature, which can used to track other Apple products with their users consent, located the missing daughter on the app.
Her family immediately called 911 after believing she had been involved in a car crash as she was unable to return calls or text her worried family members.
Firefighters were called to the scene and found the car off California Highway 18 at around 200ft below the roadway on its side - with the missing woman still in the car.

The fire department began their rescue mission around 7am and found the woman in the car with serious injuries.
San Bernardino County Fire Department released photographs of paramedics rescuing the injured woman who was seen resting through the front windshield of the damaged car.
The rescue mission, which involved firefighters and paramedics, involved a rope and capstan raising system to haul the injured woman to the side of the road.

According to the fire department the mission was made more difficult as the section of California Highway 18 - where the woman and car were located - has metal guardrails making it harder to lift the driver to safety.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is currently receiving medical treatment, according to police.
