The woman's post read: "I just want to say a big thanks to a young man called Jamie who lives in Wallasey and works in subway opposite Cammell Laird.

"I’m now 60 and my front tyre burst as I entered the main road from Rock Retail park.

"I was upset and stressed stuck on an awkward part of a busy road.

"It was difficult getting through to the RAC and I was really close to tears when Jamie, who was walking home, stopped and kept me company until my family arrived.

"Thankfully Martin from the RAC arrived at the same time too and quickly got the car sorted.

"Big thanks to Jamie for that moral support, such a wonderful young man x".
