Woman claims she was banned from Uber Eats after pulling gun on delivery worker

A woman on Twitter has shared a brief clip of a tense exchange she had with an Uber Eats delivery driver, pointing a gun at him and lambasting the man for allegedly trying to push her door open.

When the woman called customer service to lodge a complaint, she claimed she was banned from using the app.

In a series of tweets which went viral online, user @DAYxMARIE shared that while waiting on an order for over two hours, she dozed off. Eventually waking up, she was shocked to discover her Uber Eats driver trying to break into her door.

Grabbing her gun, she threatened the driver by waving her firearm around, telling him to get down. There does not appear to be any food in the proximity.

Video footage shows the driver on his knees in the building hallway, hands folded as he pleads with the irate customer.

It's hard to hear what he's saying, but the woman in the video can be heard shouting, "You do not touch on my f****** door. BYE... You just tried to open my door! No, you were trying to open my mother f****** door..."

"I thought I was tripping so I grabbed my gun and went to the door … I unlocked the door he pushed it open," the Twitter user shared on the platform.

"He opened the door but didn’t come in because he seen my gun out … he dropped to his knees saying sorry and please don’t tell on him … notice he doesn’t have the food in his hands lol," the thread continues.

"I called @UberEats to report him and they banned me … I literally was scared to live there because of their employee."

Neither the author of the tweets nor Uber Eats has responded to comment yet. It is unclear where the incident took place but it is believed to have occurred in Texas.

The story is still developing.
