A woman has been charged with murder after her partner was found with fatal stab wounds at a property south of Brisbane.
Officers were called to the home at Melnik Drive at Loganlea about 9:30pm on Thursday and found a 54-year old man with a single stab wound to the chest.
Paramedics could not revive him and the man died at the scene.
It is understood a toddler was also inside the home at the time but was unharmed.
The man's partner, a 41-year-old Loganlea woman, has been charged with murder.
She will face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
