A woman has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death near his Brisbane home last night.
Police alleged the woman, 53, confronted the man, 51, when he returned to his Newmarket home, on the corner of Erneton and Ward Street, about 7:00pm.
The woman, from the Brisbane suburb of Kangaroo Point, was located at the scene.
Police said she is known to the man and has been charged with murder, assault occasioning bodily harm and going armed so as to cause fear.
The ABC understands the woman is the estranged wife of the man.
She is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
