Woman charged with murder over body buried in Tyabb

The body was found buried at the Tyabb property, south-east of Melbourne.

Detectives have charged a 36-year-old woman with murder after a man's body was discovered in a shallow grave in Tyabb, south-east of Melbourne on Sunday.

Jade Goodwin, 39, was found dead, buried on a vacant rural property on Dandenong-Hastings Road.

Police have arrested three people in relation to the alleged murder, including the woman who has now been charged.

She is due to face an out-of-sessions hearing in Melbourne later tonight.

Arrests over three days

Police arrested the woman in Hastings on Tuesday.

They arrested a 34-year-old man in Hastings yesterday and a 52-year-old man was arrested in Crib Point this afternoon.

The two men are still in custody and are assisting police with their inquiries.

Police have previously said they believed Mr Goodwin was last seen alive on October 13.

They are calling for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
