Police have charged a 25-year-old woman with mid-range drink driving following an incident at Boolaroo on Monday morning.

About 1.20am, officers were patrolling at Boolaroo when they stopped a female driver in a silver Suzuki Swift because of the way she was driving, police said.

Police said the car allegedly swerved through the roundabout near T C Frith Avenue almost colliding with the guard rail.

Police stopped the vehicle and gave the 25-year-old female driver a breath test with returned a positive result.

Police arrested the woman and took her to Toronto Police Station for a breath analysis.

The breath analysis gave a reading of 0.118, which is classed as mid-range.

She was charged with driver mid-range PCA and her licence was immediately suspended.
