Woman charged over Vic body in bushland

A 24-year-old woman has faced court charged with murdering Jarrad Lovison. (AAP)

A woman has been charged with the murder of Victorian man Jarrad Lovison.

Samantha Grace Guillerme, 24, faced Latrobe Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon.

She had been arrested at Moe, where police also searched a property, in the morning.

Mr Lovison from Newborough, a small town bordering Moe in Victoria's east, disappeared in suspicious circumstances on April 16 this year.

His body was found on May 23 in bushland at Moondarra.

Guillerme is charged with murdering Mr Lovison at Moondarra on April 16.

She was remanded to return to court on January 7.

A white Toyota seized as part of the investigation will be forensically examined this week.
