Woman charged over prison attack on Trudi Lenon

Police have charged a 35-year-old woman over a New Year's Day attack at a Perth prison on convicted murderer Trudi Lenon, who is awaiting sentencing for killing autistic teenager Aaron Pajich.

Lenon, 44, and her accomplice Jemma Victoria Lilley, 26, were convicted in November over the stabbing and garrotting death of Mr Pajich.

Lenon was seriously burnt about 8:25am on January 1 at Bandyup Women's Prison, when the accused allegedly poured a container of boiling water over her.

She was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she is continuing to receive treatment.

A 47-year-old female prisoner, who was standing nearby, also received minor burns.

The accused will face Midland Magistrates Court on February 2, charged with two counts of causing bodily harm.

Pair await sentencing for teen's murder

Aaron Pajich was murdered in June 2016, after being lured to a home Lenon and Lilley shared in Orelia.

The 18-year-old's body was found buried under a freshly laid slab of cement that was covered in bright red tiles in the property's backyard.

The pair's trial lasted five weeks in WA's Supreme Court, where they tried to blame each other for Mr Pajich's death.

The court heard Lilley, who was obsessed with tattoos, knives, violence and serial killers, and Lenon, a submissive in the BDSM scene, had exchanged a bizarre series of Facebook messages talking about killing, torture and streets being stained red with blood.

The jury took only two-and-a-half hours to find both women guilty.

Lenon and Lilley are due to be sentenced on February 28.
