A woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a mum in Coatbridge.
Catherine Ann Campbell, 39, was found dead by police following reports of a disturbance at Renfrew Place at around 5:35am on Saturday, July 25.
Josephine Carroll, 28, was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court yesterday.
Carroll, from Glasgow, was charged with murder. She made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Detective Inspector Pauline Thomson, of the Major Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Catherine Ann at this difficult time.”
