A NSW woman is accused of scamming more than $73,000 in disaster relief funds intended to support pandemic, bushfire, flood and mouse plague victims.
The 38-year-old woman from Parkes in the central west was charged following a search of her home on Tuesday, where police seized devices, documents, ammunition and prescription drugs she allegedly was not prescribed.
She has been charged with 56 counts of fraud including fraudulent applications for small business grants, test and isolation support amid the pandemic, bushfire and flood recovery grants, as well as rebates to help farmers in the grip of the mouse plague that devastated western NSW last year.
The woman was granted bail to face court again in Parkes next month.
