Police Scotland have confirmed that a 24-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a serious collision in Carmyle last month.
At 10:50am on May 31, a 45-year-old police officer was hit by a silver Vauxhall Corsa on London Road as he attended the scene of a previous crash.
Phil Hedges-Holmes sustained serious injuries at the time, before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
Officers have confirmed to Glasgow Live that an arrest and charge have been made, with a report submitted to the Prosecutor Fiscal.
