Woman causes a stir after sharing handy freezer storage tip for meat

Freezers are great, but how much thought have you really ever given their inner-workings?

Probably not a lot. As long as they keep everything frozen and don't die on you -bar regular de-frosting - there's no reason to dwell on the make-up of your freezer .

But with blunt force trauma, one Twitter user has suddenly made a LOT of people ponder over the inside of their freezers  - and sparked a massive debate about storage and air circulation into the bargain.

"How old were you when you found out the lines at the bottom of the freezer were made to stand the meat trays up?" the tweet asked.

She also included a picture to show exactly what she meant.

Cue: meltdown, with literally thousands of social users reacting (and pointing out that buying this much meat will set you back a pretty penny).

"Don’t let my momma see this she’ll make me reorganise the freeze," one wrote.

"Didn't even know there were lines," replied someone else.

"We've been adulting wrong," added someone else.

But in amongst all the gasps of shock, other Twitter users pointed out that she was actually wrong.

"Doubt it - more like air circulation so your stuff doesn't stick to the bottom," one wrote"

"It is," someone else agreed. "My dad was a white goods mechanic, it's what he always said. It's for cold circulation."

Either way, this is one very organised and tidy freezer.
