A woman has been caught drink driving, a day after being disqualified for being four times over the legal alcohol limit with a child in her car, police allege.
The 35-year-old was stopped by police in the northwest Tasmanian town of Wynyard on Thursday evening.
She refused an initial breath test, was arrested for driving while disqualified and later returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.163 - more than three times the legal limit.
The woman was charged with driving-related offences and her car was clamped for 28 days.
She had been disqualified from driving for two years and charged on Wednesday after being caught with a blood-alcohol level of 0.219 - more than four times the legal limit.
Police say she was driving with a child in the back seat of the car.
"This repeat high-risk driving behaviour is extremely concerning and dangerous," Tasmania Police Inspector Adrian Shadbolt said.
