Woman caught boyfriend cheating after his 'physical activity' spiked on Fitbit at 4am

A woman caught her now-ex boyfriend cheating after spotting unusual physical activity on his synced Fitbit in the middle of the night.

NFL correspondent Jane Slater shared her tale in response to her colleague Albert Breer, who tweeted that his wife was 'not offended' by a Peloton bike he bought years ago.

That reminded Jane of a present she received from her then-boyfriend so she shared her unique story.

Unfortunately, her tale didn't end so well.

She tweeted: "An Ex Boyfriend once got me a Fitbit for Christmas. I loved it.

She said they had synced their trackers on each other's phones for 'motivation' (Twitter)

"We synched up, motivated each other...didn't hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app.

"Wish the story wasn't real."

She then put on a follow-up tweet stating he 'was not enrolled in an Orange Theory class at 4am'.

Her followers showed their support for Jane and some even shared their similar experiences in the comments.

She said the Fitbit app showed her ex's activity levels were spiking at 4am (Internet Unknown)

One said: "Jane! My ex-husband got caught in an affair because he was wearing the training watch and heartbeat monitor my mom bought him for Christmas - while 'running'."

Another said: "It was the under-one-minute heart rate spike that confirmed things for me!"

It appeared that one of Jane's ex-boyfriends was bombarded with questions after the tweet went viral.

She write: "Disclaimer: I feel the need to defend the honor of my ex boyfriend in Austin.

"He's received a number of group text inquiries. He is not the man I reference in the tweet below.

"In fact, Austin bf was one of the best boyfriends I ever had.

"Our issues was timing not cheating."
