In a relationship, you should be able to trust your partner to enjoy time away with their friends without worrying they might be doing something behind your back.
But one woman on TikTok learned the hard way that some people just can’t be trusted after her boyfriend’s friend sent her a picture from their lad’s holiday that seemingly confirmed her man was cheating on her.
Petra, who posts under the username @pets.hendrikse on both TikTok and Instagram, shared a video in which she showed the picture, which at first glance seemed innocent, as it just showed her boyfriend lying in bed.

But when Petra spotted one specific detail, she was left fuming – as there was an open condom next to where her boyfriend was sleeping.
Petra wrote on the video: “Getting a photo from your ex’s bestie while they’re on their boys’ trip.”
The video went viral and currently has over 14 million views – with many commenters left completely baffled by the situation.
One person wrote: “I'm literally mad at the boyfriend I don't even have.”
While another said: “This would have me absolutely raging.”
As others were just “grossed out” by the man’s decision to seemingly leave a condom on the bed instead of putting it in the bin straight away.
Someone posted: “He is actually so lazy he just threw it on the bed and not in the garbage. You dodged a bullet.”
And someone else added: “The fact that it’s just on the bed is so foul.”
While a third stated: “Anyone who leaves it and doesn’t toss it in the trash is not someone you want to be with. That’s foul.”
Petra later offered an update video where she answered questions about the situation – and confessed she had taken her boyfriend back after his cheating ways but had since dumped him again.
Explaining the events leading up to the picture, Petra said: “My partner at the time went on a boys’ trip to another country, and this country had quite a substantial time difference, so I’d go a few hours without hearing from him.
“This particular night I went around 12 or 13 hours without hearing from him or any of his friends, so I started to get a little worried.
“I texted his friend during the night to check if any of them were okay, and I still hadn’t heard from him in the morning, so I double messaged him and that’s when he sent the photo.”
The woman also said her boyfriend’s friend later claimed the condom was placed on the boyfriend’s bed in order to “prank” Petra – and he insists he never cheated.
She added: “The guy that sent it to me claimed it was a prank on me and that he had set it up. To this day, I don’t know whether that’s true or not.”
