Woman catches neighbour stealing parcels on doorbell camera

A woman was left "livid" after her neighbour denied stealing her parcels despite being caught on her doorbell camera. The woman took to Mumset to voice her anger after her opposite neighbour took the parcels that had been delivered to her woodshed while she was out.

In the post she said that whilst she was out she had a notification from her doorbell camera that someone was at her door and she saw that it was a courier with a parcel. She has a notice on her door that if she is not at home to leave any parcels in the woodshed, so after she returned home there was no parcels left.

That's where she checked her doorbell camera to see her neighbour making off with her parcels and back in to her home. She posted: "So I check the video on my Ring app....and lo and behold the woman across the room is caught on camera crossing the road, walking across my drive towards the summer house, which has a woodshed underneath it, and returning 30 seconds later with my parcels! She then goes back in to her house with them and shuts the door."

The poster then went over to confront the neighbour who denied all knowledge of the parcels. The irate poster added: "She shut the door in my face when I told her I'd got her retrieving the parcels on video."

In the comments people were quick to advise the woman to contact the non-emergency police number to report the woman as she had evidence to support her claims. Another added: "If you have the evidence and she's taken them from your property surely it's enough to involve the police. If you're feeling kind (not sure I would be) maybe go and pop a letter through her door saying if all the boxes and contents are returned by 6pm you won't involve the police, if not you'll be contacting them with the video evidence. I'd also be inclined to get another camera that actually views where the parcels get dropped off just in case she gets craftier and tries to find a way to get to them again without being seen."
