While several people are accustomed to seeking revenge, one woman has taken one step further after admitting she went on a 'mad' saga after discovering her boyfriend had cheated.
Carrie Anne admitted on popular video-streaming service TikTok that her revenge included a revolting stench after she discovered that her partner was messaging 'every' girl while working away from home.
Carrie - who posts under account @carrieanneburke6 - admitted in a video, which has raked in over 1.1 million views, that she took matters into her own hands after finding out the dirty secret.
"When he cheats on you put prawns in his curtain pole," she explained in her video.
Carrie's video clip, which has rocketed with views online, documented her pulling apart her partner's curtain poles and filling them with prawns.
Her intentions were to leave the prawns there long enough so that they would create an overwhelming stench. However, her revenge didn't stop there.
Since the video blew up into internet stardom, the TikToker shared an additional video explaining the backstory of what sparked her comeback.
She explained: "While he was working away he was messaging every bird and it was connected to his iPad, which I'd seen, that he'd left at home.
"I thought, 'f*** this, I deserve better than that'... so I went on a bit of a mad one.
"I didn't just put prawns in his curtain poles. He does a mucky job so when he comes in he usually gets in the bath, so I emptied all of the soap out.
"I also put Deep Heat in his roll-on deodorant and we lined the bottom of his boxers with it as well. I cut the ends of his socks off, we took every battery out of every remote.
"I was going to p*** in his kettle, but he's got a son so I couldn't do that. And obviously, we put prawns in his curtain poles. His mum ended up scrubbing his bedroom for months."
Since detailing the extensive list of comebacks with TikTok users online, the woman's video raked in thousands of responses - where several people fled to the comment section to share their own petty revenge.
One person wrote: "My gal!! I put prawns in the gaps in the radiator too and put the heating on ready for him coming home. You're a girl after my own heart hahah."
Meanwhile, someone else said: "I used my ex's toothbrush as a toilet brush and made sure I got right in rim and everything and give it back to him."
