Browns fans are understandably excited about the massive trade to land superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but one Cleveland-area fan had a reaction that scared his neighbors so much they called the police on him.
“I’m calling because there’s someone out in front of our house,” the caller told the 911 dispatcher. “We just drove home and he’s yelling and screaming and, like, flailing his arms.”
But the Shaker Heights man wasn’t in any trouble or trying to do any harm. He was so excited about the Browns picking up Beckham that he couldn’t contain himself.
The Browns haven’t given fans much to cheer about, so it’s understandable why picking up a superstar receiver to pair with young dynamo Baker Mayfield would make someone react so crazily. If things keep going the way they are now for the Browns, more folks in Northeast Ohio will get used to seeing reactions like this.
