A Florida woman called police repeatedly, claiming she was in a bar that wasn't following rules put in place to manage the spread of COVID-19.
But according to cops in Melbourne, Fla., Audra Adams, who placed multiple complaints to 911, was trying to kiss customers who were social distancing from her personally.
Expletive-filled calls from the woman were posted on Click Orlando, where the 32-year-old Adams complained that Monkey Bar and Grille was not operating safely during the first phase of Florida's plan to reopen the state, which allows bars to serve food and drinks.
But the operators of Monkey Bar and Grille say Adams was asked to leave after customers complained she wanted to lip-lock strangers.
She called emergency services five times from the parking lot outside the watering hole, according to the report, which states police were already at the bar when Adams made her fourth call and were speaking directly to her when she phoned for the fifth time.
Adams can be heard pleading her case to a 911 dispatcher and asking why she's being ganged up on by officers and people at the bar.
" 'Cause you're drunk?" the dispatcher said. "I don't know."
Adams admitted she had been drinking, but seemed to deny being intoxicated.
Adams was reportedly charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer without violence and misuse of a 911 system.
