A woman was brought down safely from a bridge near Leeds city centre this afternoon.
West Yorkshire Police have taken the woman to a place of safety after being called to the scene at 3.07pm.
Officers responded to a report of a concern for safety relating to a woman on a bridge over the A64.
Road closures were put in place for a short time while officers dealt with the incident.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the woman involved has been taken to a place of safety by police.
