A woman has caused uproar on social media with her unusual pregnancy reveal surprise she planned for her husband.

The woman and her husband, known only as Josh and Lisa, divided opinion when they shared their very unique ' pregnancy announcement' on TikTok.

In the clip, shared on @joshandlisa, the mum -to-be is filmed getting an ice cream cone in McDonald's.

She then presents a positive pregnancy test with a cap on it, to the camera which she then pops inside of the ice cream

The pregnant woman then heads over to see her hubby who is waiting patiently at a table for his dessert.

Lisa then begins to drop hints to her unwitting husband, encouraging him to eat the ice cream as quickly as possible.

Eventually, he finds the test and is stunned, asking Lisa if it's "real" to which she replies that it is.

Their video was captioned: "The sweetest pregnancy announcement" and has been viewed 11 million times, garnering over 500,000 likes and more than 10,000 comments.

However not everyone was a fan of the clip, with some people saying they were "disturbed" that the woman had peed on the stick then fed it to her husband, while others said they whole thing was fake.

One person wrote: "That's disgusting."

Another said: "You PEED on that."

A third posted: "Bro... It's an unsanitary NO from me."

While someone else replied: "Relax people, that brand of pregnancy tests come up in a pinky red, not blue. It's drawn on."

However, others were more shocked by the fact the couple had visited a McDonald's with a working ice cream machine.

A different user joked: "Forget the pregnancy, the ice cream machine worked?"
