A woman has been banned from shopping at a Walmart store after she allegedly ate half a cake and refused to pay full price for it.
The shopper, whose named has not been revealed, visited the store last Tuesday in Wichita Falls, northern Texas, US, and claimed she found a half-eaten cake at the bakery section before heading to the cash point.
The store manager called the police when she refused to pay full price for the cake.
Wichita Falls Police Sergeant Harold McClure told CBS News that the woman picked up the cake at the bakery and ate half of it while roaming the aisles of the store.
The woman was not arrested but she was banned from the store due to the theft.
Similar incidents happened in Wichita Falls in January this year.
Another woman was banned from a different Walmart store in the city after driving an electric shopping cart around the parking lot for several hours.
She was reportedly drinking wine from a Pringles can while riding the cart.
