A hungry woman got a huge shock when her takeaway was dropped off by a police officer after the delivery driver was arrested en route to her house.
The amusing incident was captured on the homeowner's doorbell camera, and shows the officer walking to the door with a drink and two bags of food.
The homeowner is clearly bemused but the officer explains why he's there, revealing he arrested the delivery driver but thought he would complete the order on his own.
After the clip was shared online, many social media users praised the police officer for his actions - and one person said that they deserved a tip.

In the video, the officer says: "I know I am not who you are expecting but your driver got arrested.
"So, I figured I’d complete the door dash for you."
The amused homeowner could be heard laughing and thanked the cop for the delivery.
The video ends with the officer making his way back to his patrol car while the homeowner’s laugh can still be heard from inside the house.

The video has racked up over 300,000 views online, alongside countless comments from locals who praised the officer for going above and beyond by completing the order.
