Woman attacked by teen after refusing to buy group of youths alcohol in Scots town

A woman was assaulted by a teenage boy after refusing to buy a group of youths alcohol in Grangemouth.

The woman was approached by the group outside the Spar at Charlotte Dundas Court in the town at around 10am on Friday March, 26.

When she refused their request, she was attacked by one male youth.

A probe has now started and cops want to speak to two members of the public who stopped to help her after the terrifying ordeal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 10am, Friday 26th March 2021, outside the Spar, Charlotte Dundas Court, Grangemouth, a female was approached by group of teenagers who asked her to buy them alcohol, on refusing, the female was assaulted by an unknown male youth."

"Two unknown members of the public stopped to check on the welfare of the female who was assault and thereafter left without providing details.

"If you are, or know, these two members of the public or have any information in relation to this assault, call 101 quoting incident number 0981 of 26th March 2021."
