A woman was attacked by a teenage knifeman in a park in Trafford.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested on Sunday (August 1) after police were called to reports of an assault in Woodsend Park.
Officers found that the boy was in possession of a knife, and they seized two 10 inch serrated kitchen knives.

He was held on suspicion of assault and possessing a bladed article, and a police investigation is continuing.
Officers in Trafford say residents will see more police patrols in parks as part of the Safer Parks scheme.
In a post on the GMP Trafford North Page, officers said: "On Sunday 1st August 2021 we received reports of a 15 year old male that had assaulted a female on Woodsend Park, Flixton.
"We were also informed that the 15 year old male was in possession of a knife.
"Response officers from B Relief quickly attended and the 15 year old male was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a bladed article.
"2x 10 inch serrated kitchen knives were seized as a result. The Investigation is ongoing.
"The #TraffordWest Neighbourhood Team are re-launching their #SaferParks initiative which will see more proactive patrolling of local parks and green spaces throughout #Urmston & #Partington to combat Robbery & Knife crime."
