Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in an attempted robbery yesterday.
The woman was grabbed by a man who demanded she hand over money whilst within the waiting area of Renfrew Health Centre at 12.45pm.
The woman did not hand over any cash and the man later fled the scene.
She did not sustain serious injuries during the incident.
Police say enquiries into the attempted robbery are ongoing, as are efforts to trace the suspect.
He is described as a white, Scottish male who is around 35 years old.
People who witnessed the assault and all those who may know the man's whereabouts are asked to contact police on the 101 number.
