Two more arrested over fatal Vic stabbing

A man and woman wanted over the stabbing death of a young carpenter in southeast Melbourne have been arrested.

A Somers woman, 21, was arrested on Friday over the death of 26-year-old Cam Smith at Seaford on Wednesday evening.

A Frankston man, 18, was arrested later on Friday afternoon.

The young tradie was allegedly stabbed when he stepped in to defend his girlfriend after they were confronted by a group of young people near Seaford station on Wednesday.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder, while a 17-year-old from Frankston has been charged with affray, intentionally causing injury and committing offences while on bail.

Victoria Police said they are not searching for anyone else over the death.
