A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a former bodybuilder in a seaside town .
The 32-year-old is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, March 9, following the death of Morgan Dunn, 34.
He was killed at a property in the town's Marigold Square on Saturday, February 8.
The woman was detained by officers probing the death of Mr Dunn, who was living in Ayr but is originally from Stevenston, Ayrshire.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
"She is due before Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, March 9."
She is the second person to be arrested in connection with Mr Dunn's death.
Marius Bauba, 26, was charged with murder and housebreaking with intent to steal.
He was arrested at the Solway Lodge Hotel in Gretna last month, more than a week after the killing, and appeared in private at Ayr Sheriff Court to face two charges.
He made no plea during the behind-closed-doors hearing and was remanded in custody.
