Gardai have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder after the horrible deaths of three children in Newcastle.
Conor, Darragh, and Carla McGinley were tragically found dead in their home in Parsons Court on Friday night sending shockwaves throughout the country.
A woman was found at the scene and rushed to hospital.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder.

A garda spokesperson said: "A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder, in relation to the discovery of the bodies of three children at a property in Parson’s Court, Newcastle, Co. Dublin on 24/1/2020.
"She is currently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984."
Gardai had initially been treating the death as unexplained and were awaiting toxicology reports to confirm the kid's cause of death.
It's now been officially upgraded to a murder probe.
The arrests comes as locals gather in Parsons Court to hold a candlelight vigil to remember the kids and show support for distraught Dad Andrew.
