A woman was arrested towing a suspected stolen caravan in a van that had been nicked just hours earlier.
Police were called to an address in Stalybridge, Tameside, on Monday afternoon following reports that a caravan was in the process of being stolen.
As officers made their way to the scene, the vehicle was picked up on CCTV being towed by a Ford Transit van.
The van was stopped and the driver - a 33-year-old woman - detained.
According to GMP Tameside North, when officers checked the chassis of the Ford Transit they discovered it had been stolen hours earlier from Stockport and was on false plates.

The driver also tested positive for cocaine and was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a caravan and drug driving.
GMP Tameside North shared an image of the van on Facebook, writing: "A 33-year-old female has been arrested on the suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a caravan and drug driving.
"This afternoon (Monday) officers were called to a report of a theft of a caravan in progress in the Stalybridge area.
"Whilst en-route to the address officers, located the caravan being towed by a Ford Transit van.
"Officers quickly detained the female driver.
"On checking the details of the Ford Transit by conducting a chassis check, it transpired that the vehicle had been stolen hours prior from the Stockport area and was on false plates.
"She later tested positive for cocaine."
Insp Andy Holden confirmed the woman had since been released under investigation.
He also praised the team work of officers and Tameside council CCTV operators for finding the vehicle so quickly.
