A 75-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested for a second time for allegedly breaching abortion protest buffer zones legislation.
Rose Docherty was arrested on Hardgate Road, outside the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on Wednesday, according to BBC Scotland.
Docherty was reportedly carrying a placard which stated “coercion is a crime, here to talk, only if you want” at the time of her arrest.
She was arrested, charged and released on bail under the Safe Access Zone legislation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a 75-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the Safe Access Zone legislation.”
The new law, which came into force last September, created buffer zones outside Scottish abortion clinics and made it a criminal offence to behave in ways that could influence the decisions of women and staff to access services within the exclusion zones.

The Safe Access Zones Act was overwhelmingly passed by MSPs last year.
Docherty was the first person to be charged under the new law following a similar protest in February.
She was issued a warning and faced no further action.
