Woman arrested following road rage attack in north Manchester

A woman has been arrested following a road rage attack in north Manchester.

It comes after a woman in her 20s suffered injuries to her face in an 'altercation' that followed a crash in Harpurhey on Sunday. afternoon.

A 37-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of assault.

She has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police were called to Fernclough Road after two cars crashed at about 4.30pm.

Following the smash police say the occupants of the vehicles were 'involved in an altercation'.

The injured woman was taken to hospital by paramedics.

She has since been discharged.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
