A woman has been arrested after a band's tour van was stolen in Manchester city centre.
The band were visiting Manchester from the US and staying at a hotel, police said. They realised their van had been stolen yesterday morning (Thursday).
It contained their musical instruments and personal belongings. In an update issued last night, officers said a 30-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection with the incident.

She remains in custody for questioning. The contents of the van has been found, but the actual van itself has not been found yet, police added.
Members of the public have been urged to look out for a white transit van with the registration plate PO60 TFN. Anyone with any information should contact officers.
A post on the GMP city centre page last night said: "#ARREST | A woman has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods after a van containing items belonging to a visiting US band were stolen. Officers were called to a hotel in Manchester City Centre just before 10am this morning, Thursday 10 November 2022, to reports of a stolen van which contained musical instruments and personal items.
"A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and remains in custody for questioning. Although the musical instruments and belongings have been found by officers, police are still appealing for the public’s help to locate the white transit van registration number PO60 TFN.
"Any information please contact 101 quoting log number 829 of 10 November 2022."
