Paris White, 34, was arrested after officers found the 31-year-old man with a stab wound, Chicago police said.

The stabbing happened during an argument about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 8900 block of South Escanaba Avenue, police said.

The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

White was charged with a count of attempted first-degree murder and a count of aggravated domestic battery, police said.
