A woman has been arrested after police were called to a 'domestic issue' at a house in Stockport.
Officers were called to the scene on Harper Court in the Shaw Heath area at around 9.50pm on Sunday night (April 24). A woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, police said.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Eyewitnesses reported spotting several police cars stationed in the area last night, near to Shaw Heath Medical Centre.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "We were called shortly after 9.50pm on Sunday 24 April to a report of domestic issues between a man and a woman at an address on Harper Court, Stockport. A woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
