Cops raced to A727 at the Thorntonhall Roundabout at around 12.30am.

Two women, aged 24 and 23, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in relation to the incident, and released pending further enquiries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
